On June 21st, 2019, SPRC continued with the regular activities, as initially planned and withing the framework of Resilient Communities Project. Both of activities held in Kamenica Municipality (training and the workshop) were facilitated by the relevant office and officials in charge in order to facilitate the logistics and encourage participants. Members of the Municipal Safety Councils were joined by other Municipal Officials. Whilst, the format and content delivery of the workshop remained the same, as well as the engaged expert, Mr.Agim Musliu. Among participants were different institutional and community representatives, including representatives of the serian orthodox church. In comparison with the receptiveness of the presentation elsewhere, here participants connected the topics of radicalism and resilience building with the context in their community – thus using this momentum to address some local security and safety concerns ranging from infrastructure to lacking of human resources in relevant institutions (such as schools and certain police departments).
