D+ has organized a workshop with youth in Prishtina to discuss about dangers that violent extremism/radicalisation brings to the society, focused on radicalisation online and social media (radicalisation faced online). The workshop also provided a few examples when and how social media and other platforms such as YouTube have impacted people to get radialized and even traveled abroad to join conflicts outside the country. To this aim, also a few reports of public institutions and of civil society organisations have been brought under discussion which admit that internet (meaning the web platforms, chat forums and social media) have had and actually have an impact on people in getting radicalised. The workshop also discussed with participants how to keep safe when using social media from online propaganda, what to access and what no in the social media, to think critically about different messages and contents spread via social media, media literacy, etc. The workshop gathered a group of 18 participants (11F and 7M) of ages between 15 and 24 years old.
