On March 5^th, 2019, BIRN has organized the next training with the topic “the forms of violent extremism and reporting from terrorism cases”. Participants in this training were students of law and journalism in the College “AAB”, in Prishtina. While speakers at this training were Labinot Leposhtica, Legal Office Coordinator at BIRN Kosovo and Kreshnik Gashi, author of “Justice in Kosovo”. The purpose of this training was to give students the best knowledge of the forms of violent extremism that lead to terrorism. More specifically, Kreshnik, with an extended experience in investigative journalism, spoke about the best practices of reporting from terrorist attacks, in particular how to control fake news. Present in this training were about 56 students (34 women and 22 men) who had the opportunity to ask questions about certain cases that were presented by the lecturers.
