Democracy Plus (D+) has replicated the same presentation to the students of secondary school at the gymnasium “Zenel Hajdini” in the municipality of Gjilan. The content presented to the students via a PowerPoint presentation focused on the problems radicalization and violent extremism brings to the society. It also provided information on internet safety and critical thinking as two means deemed necessary for the prevention of the youth embracing ideas pertaining at radicalization and violent extremism. The figures from different reports show that this region has witnessed a high number of youngsters embracing dangerous ideas such as radicalization and violent extremism. Therefore, the students were very excited about the topics and engaged to the discussions and shared their stories of either their friends or relatives which have fallen in the trap of radicalistic and/or violent extremist organizations, mainly due to the lack of alternative information. There were 30 students taking part in the presentation (10F and 20M) of ages between 15 and 17 years old.
