BIRN Kosovo, on June 8, 2019, published the article titled “the woman from Gjilan was rejected three times of the social assistance”. This research shows that reasoning that it could be maintained by family income had caused a woman from Gjilan, whose husband was in Syria, was rejected for three consecutive times to take the social assistance from the Directorate of Labor and Social Welfare in Gjilan.

Parts of the research were also the interviews with the officials of the centers for social work in Gjilan and Vitia municipality, they spoke about the capacities of these centers to provide assistance to these people. This article was published in KALLXO.com.
