After a presentation of the objectives and reasoning behind the project, the Expert and the Police Representative, discussed the main concepts around the topic, the main focus in this round was on the role of social entities, such as family, school and community, in fostering resilience, enhancing the protective factors, their role in communicating with the respective factors in addressing specific radicalized cases, as to prevent possible negative outcomes that might come from their corrupted systems of beliefs and values. The assembly members were especially interested in discussion the role and resources of the schools in identifying, preventing and/or addressing cases, and the need for specific professionals, equipped to handle and aid in this process, such as Psychologists and Social Workers (which lack in most of the schools)
