The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaqi, reacted to this report, expressing the joy that Kosovo is lauded by the US state department “pleased with the fact that Kosovo is again lauded in the US report on terrorism in 2018, as a state that has cooperated with the US – in the fight against terrorism and extremism, and is valued as a member of the global coalition against ISIS. The Kosovo chapter counts the achievements of all agencies, the judiciary, the Kosovo police, the Ministry of Justice, but also KFOR and EULEX, praising their co-operation in maintaining peace and security in Kosovo “adding that” Kosovo will fight radicalism, extremism and terrorism of any form without compromise. We are equal partners of our allies and contributors to peace and security in the region and beyond.”
